BENEFITS OF HEDGE LAYING
Hedge laying is an additional service that DCF Fencing can offer to you. It is a great way of regenerating a hedge, by using existing stems to lay across the hedgerow. This will encourage new shoots to grow which will eventually leave you with a much thicker healthier hedge.
COUNTRYSIDE STEWARDSHIP GRANTS
Hedge laying has been proven to have many environmental benefits for wildlife. Once a hedge has been laid and thickened, it provides a perfect home for nesting animals. As a result of this you can apply for a Countryside Stewardship Grant which will provide you with funding for hedge laying.

Protecting a freshly laid hedge is crucial for promoting healthy growth. Making sure that both sides of the hedge are well fenced will stop animals from rubbing the hedge and damaging new and existing shoots.
